Moni's Brussells Sprouts

1 lb. (or so) Brussels sprouts
1 shallot diced
1-2 tabs butter
bacon
diced granny Smith apple
salt and pepper

Cook bacon, remove, drain half the bacon fat, add butter, sauté sprouts and shallot. Add salt and pepper, crumble bacon and return to pan, add apple last 2 minutes...
